A two-day international youth football tournament

On 12 and 13 June 2027, the 11th edition of the Baggercup will take place. Once again, youth teams from national and international football clubs will compete across three different age categories, all aiming to be crowned the winners of the Baggercup 2027.

The 11th edition of the Baggercup will kick off on 12 June 2027. As in previous years, football clubs from both the Netherlands and abroad will compete against each other. We are looking forward to another fantastic tournament, just like the previous editions, with sportsmanship, camaraderie and, of course, the battle for the prestigious Baggercup taking centre stage.

Since 2015

The Baggercup was first organized in 2015 and has evolved over the years into an international youth football tournament. An event that is not only popular among participants but also among spectators. Every year, thousands of people come to v.v. Sliedrecht to watch the matches and enjoy the lively atmosphere and excellent youth football. The tournament features three categories (U11, U13 & U15), with teams participating from all over the Netherlands and Europe.

The Baggercup has now become a tradition in Sliedrecht and the surrounding areas. The tournament is an integral part of the v.v. Sliedrecht calendar. In addition to sporting achievements, the Baggercup also emphasizes the spirit of camaraderie. There is live music, and snacks and drinks are available!
